After 236,000+ emails sent, 16,000+ calls made, 2,200+ meetings with Members of Congress, and millions of safer products sold, we are thrilled to share there has been a historic change in cosmetics reform – a big win for Beautycounter and the beauty industry. Congress passed its Fiscal Year 2023 Spending Bill, within which Lawmakers included the ‘‘Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act”, an Act that incorporates significant provisions to strengthen the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) ability to regulate cosmetic and personal-care products. This is an incredible win, and it’s one that each and every BeautyCounter Client, and Consultant have played an integral role in making happen!
