BeautyCounter is the clean skincare and makeup line that we have chosen to represent and sell, because they are the best at keeping wrinkles at bay, keeping skin looking even and bright, and making our faces and bodies look and feel
amazing. All without using harsh and unnecessary chemicals. BeautyCounter has been instrumental in getting legislation passed in the US for toxic-free cosmetics, and for the cosmetics industry to be regulated as is the food industry. They have spear-headed legislation to ban toxic chemicals from our cosmetics. And they have something for
everyone! Counterman is a line of skincare specifically for men that also is a clean line.

BeautyCounter takes this mission seriously and so should each and every one of us. From Soap to Sunblock, Skincare to Makeup and everything that touches our skin, eyes, and hair, this legislation is finally starting to take hold.
Oregon recently passed legislation that will ban many of the worst toxic substances from our cosmetics by 2027 in their State.
It’s not to late to check out the products that you use today and toss them out like so many others have. We know you like your tried and true go to products, but what if they contained known carcinogens? Would you still want to use it? If the answer is no, there are other alternatives out there beside BeautyCounter, but we think this is the easiest one to choose simply because they have so many products that are on the Verified EWG.org list of clean products.

You can check out your own skincare and makeup products to see how they stack up at: https://www.EWG.org (go to the skin deep database to find your products). Warning the site will keep popping up donation requests, which can be annoying, but if you keep telling it you want to continue to the site, those pop-ups will subside. We donate on our customer’s behalf. A portion of profits made through BeautyCounter will be donated to EWG.org to help them to continue their role in this very important mission of ridding our cosmetic industry of toxic chemicals that could potentially harm us and the ones we love.

Toxic Free Campaign Check it out (BC is headed to the “Hill” in DC in 2024 to testify about the toxins in cosmetics)

An Important Step Forward in Beauty Regulation After 236,000+ emails sent,16,000+ calls made, 2,200+ meetings with Members of Congress, and millions of safer products sold, we are thrilled to share there has been a historic change in cosmetics reform – a big win for BeautyCounter and the beauty industry. Congress passed its Fiscal Year 2023 Spending Bill, within which Lawmakers included the ‘‘Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act,” an Act that incorporates significant provisions to strengthen the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) ability to regulate cosmetic and personal-care
products. This is an incredible feat. The fight goes on, and we are hoping you, our clients, will join us in this fight to enrich our lives by banning toxic chemicals from our cosmetics.

Oregon passed legislation recently to ban the most egregious toxins (highest on the list)
from cosmetics by 2027.
